Go green or go home!

Having experimented with a slew of rainbow shades from hot pinks to electric blues and unicorn lavender, it seems that green hair is having a moment with Hollywood stars. In the past couple of weeks alone, variations of this hue have popped up ranging from lime green, to a more neon shade and even an emerald one. Kim Kardashian West was snapped recently driving a neon green Lamborghini and flaunting a matching hued wig. Her straight waist-long green tresses was offset by her latex bodycon dress. Dua Lipa recently brought in her 23rd birthday switching up her brunette locks for a jewel-toned deep green wig styled in a choppy bob. 

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj and SZA took to social media to show off their neon green looks. The latter going for a Nickelodeon style slime green captioning her pic, "Dees b*itches ain't slime enuff." It is a rather vibrant shade to pull off and can be high-maintenance too. Anisha Fernandes Tavares, Senior stylist and make-up artist from Nalini of Nalini & Yasmin Salon explains that with this hue it's always important to choose the right shade based on your skin tone and undertone. "There are various options such as teal, ivy, emerald and dark green. Instead of going for a full green look, it's advisable to add a few placements for a fun element in your hair," she says.
