Fitness freaks rejoice as it is time to get spoilt for choice. Why limit yourself only to your neighborhood gym to workout? How about getting access to the best gyms and fitness classes across the city thereby getting opportunities to choose any workout, anytime and anywhere? Add some spice to your boring gym workout with some yoga, swimming, kickboxing, aerobics, Zumba, Pilates from various places. And that too, without having to shell out a fortune by taking a monthly membership at an economical price. Though this concept of offering convenience and variety exists abroad, Fiticket is the first-of-its-kind service in the city. They have on board everyone from the big chains such as Gold’s Gym and Mickey Mehta to the exclusive boutique neighborhood fitness studios.

What is it?
Sahil Kukreja, founder and CEO, who also is an ex-cricket professional and been a part of the Indian Premier League in the Kings XI Punjab Team says, “I come from a sports background and while researching for five to six months to find a package for cricketers where they could could stay fit on the go, we came across this model concept. It was a task to implement this, getting in touch with various gyms and fitness centres across the city. As a result, we have a tie-up with close to 500 gyms in Mumbai and around 1,900 activities listed on the App (there’s web, Andriod and iOS version).” Fiticket was launched over a month ago and they already have around 2.5 thousand people registered and about a thousand bookings.

Ideal for everyone
Kukreja says, “My team partners’ goal is to provide fitness for everyone, so now there’s no excuse for anyone to not to get on to the fitness wagon.” The user-friendly app brings to your smartphone activities such as Aerial yoga, Surf, Calisthenics, Bokwa, Caopeira and many more. Initially there was a monthly membership (`1,800) but now they have a quarterly (`4,500) and yearly membership too. While some gyms and fitness centres allow you to use their services up to five times a month, there are some who offer unlimited access. Therefore, people can utilise their Fiticket fitness pass to the maximum. The Fiticket App is also offering a one-week free trial. Fiticket fitness pass doesn’t include a personal trainer. If you want a personal trainer and/or a dietician, they will arrange for it separately and will have to be paid for.
