Fashion for a cause

Designer Pria Kataaria Puri will showcase her designs at The Heart for India Foundation’s charity event tonight at the Four Seasons Hotel, Geneva, to raise money for underprivileged children in India. The  non-profit organisation has been founded by Princess Françoise Sturdza, a friend and supporter of Pria,  and the event will see many names from royalty and sports in attendance. Pria’s collection will consist of gowns including exotic Indo-Western wear with Indian sensibilities with about 30 per cent of the proceeds from the sale going towards the foundation’s charity. Pria’s designs have found a large following both in India and abroad and reflect the global woman of today.
