Thinking twice before ordering that yummy looking roll or quiche at most coffee shops, which often leads you down the road of disappointment. For while the coffees for the most part are generally good, the snacks are a letdown. Hence, when we were asked to check out Good Co Coffee's new food additions, we were a bit sceptical about what to expect. Like most coffee places Good Co Coffee has its range of beverages, but has also worked on its food menu, and has introduced lasagnas and pastas for those looking for a quick meal.
When we dropped by, we sampled the Vegetarian Quiche (Rs 65) which was flavourful and went well with the Mint Oreo Delight shake (available for Rs 140 and Rs 160). The latter is quite rich yet delicious and will be an instant hit with Oreo cookie lovers. We also tried the Chicken Lasagna, it did not look that great but tasted good. We finished off with the Cashew & Hazelnut Verrine (Rs 125) that had a similar texture and taste of a Ferrero Rocher. Not bad for a coffee place, where you don't have to make do with just a cuppa but can also have a decent meal to go with it.
