It's usual to see celebs walking in designer clothes at events but it was refreshing to see individuals hailing from different walks of life showing up in bespoke designs. Aboutir a bespoke design studio nestled in the art district of Kala Ghoda hosted a soiree last week to capture the real style of fashionistas from blogging community to restaurant and cinema.

Aboutir's designer Devinaa Chouhan studied at London College of Fashion which was followed by a stint at the British College of Professional. After coming back to India she opened her pet project, "Aboutir", while for Manish Banthia who specialises in brand building and events, this was an expansion to fulfill a long cherished vision, "that of starting my own label for bespoke women and menswear one day....", says Manish.

Aboutir with its edgy yet subtle designs for men aims at filling the gap for a studio that offers designer mesnwear, customised solutions and personalised consultations and fittings. For women, the brand showcases fashion forward pieces, presenting unexpected combinations of the highest quality fabrics and styles. The brand's new Autumn / winter 2014 /15 range centers around fabrics like Indian silks, Italian chiffon, Swiss tulle, cashmere wool combining them with intricate embroideries, Radiant Gold and silver accents, Swarovski crystal embellishments, plated metal studs and pipes and a beautiful palette of jewel toned colours to decorate the array of pieces.

Manish and Devina unveiled this new collection over a preview evening curated by Radhika Dhawan last week. The studio is a must-visit for anyone looking for bespoke services at lucrative pricing!
