Indian designer Daniel Syiem who has taken part in the Mumbai fashion week in the past is now showing his designs on an international scale. Daniel who hails from Shillong has been selected to be a part of the London Fashion Week that will take place from September 12 to 16. He will showcase his ethnic Ryndia collection, which is known for a simplicity of style along with a unique western touch.

This is a preview to the Spring/Summer '15 collection. Interestingly, another familiar name on the designer list is Delna Poonawalla. Daniel's collection sticks to an earthy colour palette with neutral tones in off-white and dull gold, enhancing the drapes and styling.

There are very few zippers and buttons but more detailing in terms of knotted fabric similar to the dress of Khasi tribals. He uses materials from Umden village in Meghalaya's Ri-Bhoi district where the Ryndia is produced from the eri silkworms. The designer will display his line at the Whitehall Suite in London on September 13.
