Buy: Bambi sweatshirts from Givenchy, Anamika Khanna, Sabyasachi.

Throw: Balloon skirts and balloon dresses because they do very little to flatter the Indian silhouette.

Steal: Anything that fits you better than the owner. Say a well made shirt and then mix and match it up.

Buy: Strappy wedge platform sandals are a must and they are better than flats. Don’t just invest in good occasional footwear but even in everyday pieces. I’d recommend Ferragamo strappy sandals, YSL heels and Marc Jacobs shoes. Replace hot pants with culottes and opt for maxis and cotton voile blouses.

Throw: I think tortoise, aqua toned Ray-Ban aviators are ODDed and should be stopped. Also try and refrain from neons.

Steal: It’s not a good idea with the Aam Aadmi Party coming into power.

Buy: Invest in a pair of white sneakers which are perfect for summer. Also, opt for the leopard print lace ups for men as not many guys can pull it off. Combine sneakers with a tuxedo and a pair of jeans to give it a sporty look.

Throw: Slim-fit jeans because they are done to death. I think your denims should be comfortable and sporty and not too body hugging.

Some people take the skinny jeans to a new level. Also, I’d sincerely request the guys to get their jackets fitted. Otherwise no point wearing formals.
