Chetan Bhagat to write a novel on women soon

Author Chetan Bhagat on Saturday said that he will soon pen a novel which would centre around women as he feels that they have not been able to get the pride of the place they deserve.

"You (woman) must know your rights. You must know what tradition versus modern is, and you must also know what the woman's spirit is. You are here to do your best and you must fight for gender rights," he said during a talk show organised by the FICCI Ladies Organisation at Jaipur.

Bhagat also talked about the challenges he faced by chucking a lucrative job to become a full-time writer and thanked his wife for his success and twin sons.
