Name: Complete/Convenient
Author: Ketan Bhagat
Publisher: Srishti Publishers
Rating: 3.5

The one thing I never tire of is a story that resonates life. And while Ketan Bhagat has me at a loss for the strange title for his book, the story itself is one pleasing and easy to read.

For anyone who has been an NRI, the story of Kabir and Myra makes complete sense.

For those who are thinking of being NRIs, there’s a lot to learn in from their tale as well. I feel the couple’s pain, from both their points of view, which makes for a great and involving read.

Ketan keeps the language simple and the context close to heart. From the madness of a bizarre Punjabi wedding to the quietness and underlaying loneliness of Sydney modern life. The story is not new, that we haven’t seen in a movie or read it other books, but still it sits well with you as you immerse yourself into the world of this couple discovering many things — that marriage is not as easy as love, that life abroad may not be as relaxed as it looks and that at the end of the day, we are nothing without our families. It’s a story you won’t tire of, and that’s why it works.
