Even if we have wrapped up Diwali, the festive spirit continues till the end of the year. To host huge groups of guests, these contacts will come handy. Spread across Mumbai, these eateries do not have a dine-in option and function solely on orders. What sets them apart is the fact that each of these service providers have biryani-centric menus, do bulk deliveries (minimum 1 kilo), and require ample prep time.

Biryani 360

Khar-based Shayan Italia's biryani kitchen delivers the rice dish to your doorstep in an hour's time. The eatery claims to make healthy biryani for those who want to binge but dread the calories. Their menu is short, with just two options. While the vegetarian version has chunks of vegetables, such as green peas, carrots and French beans, the 'un-veg' has all these and chicken. Unlike most biryani outlets, Biryani 360 doesn't take pride in following any traditional recipes but promises a taste that borders authentic stuff. It comes with an accompaniment of raita – greek yogurt-based dip infused with crushed elements of ingredients that go into the main biryani.

Tucked away in a by-lane of Lokhandwala, Le Berian follows authentic heirloom Bohri recipes to create what they sell. Co-owned by Chef Mohammed Bhol (formerly associated with Cafe Sundance and Two One Two Bar & Grill), this biryani needs to be ordered by the kilo and has to be ordered 3 to 4 hours in advance. The menu is extensive, offering fish, prawn, chicken and paneer biryanis. Each parcel comes with added kachumber and raita.
