Thousands of international luxury brands, fascinating debates on topical issues, countless networking opportunities, chilled champagne and birthday cake are in store for visitors to the 2014 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, Cannes from 26th to 31st October, 2014.
The 30th annual convention for the duty free and travel retail industry will kick off with light-hearted golf and pétanque tournaments for delegates and a charity run along the Croisette in aid of TFWA Care.
The prestigious TFWA World Conference on 27th, from 9 am-11:30 am will feature a state of the industry address from Erik Juul- Mortensen, President TFWA
Delegates are signing up now at conference@tfwa.com for three topical workshops, which will be staged in the Salon Croisette, Majestic Hotel. The 'Market Watch Workshop: Latin America' will take place on October 28th from 8 am-9 am. A working lunch will be held on October 28th from 12:30 pm-2 pm to encourage a debate among suppliers, retailers and landl o rds on the topic— 'Counterfeit- a Real Threat to our Industry', hosted by TFWA in partnership with French manufacturers' association Unifab. Over 470 exhibiting companies representingthousands of international brands will be showcasing their product portfolios in the exhibition villages with 10% new entries to the show or brands returning after a short absence.and speeches by Gen. Colin Powell, USA (Ret.), 65th US Secretary of State, and Alexandre de Juniac, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Air France-KLM.
