The first weekend of this month coincides with two anticipated days — International Beer Day and Friendship Day, both of which fall on August 4 and August 6 respectively, and what better way to celebrate ties of love with your besties than guzzling beer with food.
Making its debut in the capital, BFF— Beer Friends Forever Festival will be all about good old bonhomie as you chat, banter, laugh over glasses of beer and food from across the globe. The event, brainchild of entrepreneurs and social influencers Ayush Choudhary and Aarti Sharma, is for all of them who believe that friendship deserves to be celebrated with a twist. Talking to us, Choudhary said, “Reminiscing the old school days when we would seal our bonds with wristbands, it’s time we go down memory lane again. Because beer plus friends forever is the new BFF! The idea is to have a good time with the family we choose — our friends.”
The BFF will be spread across 3,0000 square feet with popular outlets like Burger King, Keventers, Wow Momos, Papa Buns, Hudson Cafe, Root’d, Belgian Fries, 38 barracks, Relax xpress, Live wok and more, offering variety of cuisines. This, coupled with an unlimited supply of beer! The food will be a delectable bouquet of BLT sandwiches, Rainbow Pizza, flavoured milkshakes, prawn momos, vegetarian pepperoni pizza among others. Himmat Chandhok, marketing and branding manager, Wow! Momo, which is one of the participants at BFF said, “We value friendship and believe that friends who eat together stay together. We loved the concept of The BFF, celebrating Friendship Day with International Beer Day. Momos being Delhiite’s favourite street food, we thought it would be amazing to be a part of this.”
