Do cars make you go weak in the knees? What would you say to a free one-way ride within Dubai in a Ferrari California, Lamborghini Aventador, Rolls-Royce Wraith, Mercedes SLS AMG or a Bentley Continental GT? If you're in Dubai between November 19th and December 6th,  you won't be able to help but be a part of the second edition of the Dubai Motor Festival, celebrated under the theme 'Passion for Wheels', this year.

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the Dubai Motor Festival 2014 brings to the city some of the biggest names in the world of motorsport along with a spectacular line-up of motoring events. A citywide extravaganza that covers all of Dubai, a few motoring events will be hosted at dedicated venues such as Meydan Racecourse and Skydive Dubai, while parades and rides will cruise through the city’s streets and will extend to popular malls, hotels, the airport and tourist landmarks.

Launched in 2013, this year a variety of first-of-its-kind events have been introduced including, ‘Inspired Light by Infiniti QX70S’, a car light show; Supercar Taxi, a concept that offers residents and tourists in Dubai a free one-way ride within the city absolutely free in one of 10 supercars; a Motor Village, which is a purpose-built motoring destination designed to create a fun day out for families and individuals to enjoy and experience motoring-themed activities and entertainment.

Get ready for the Dubai Grand Parade, which you can watch from dedicated spectator zones at Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard and Madinat Jumeirah, on November 28. Over 600 luxury cars and bikes including Bugatti, Ferrari, McLaren, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Cadillac, Harley Davidson, Ducati, Triumph and more will be a part of the parade, which will be led by Dubai Police’s world famous supercars and will start and end at Meydan. The Parade will embark on a 47-kilometre tour of the city’s main arteries and will pass several of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall, the Burj Al Arab and Madinat Jumeirah.

On the same day, a specially designed Motor Village will transform the Meydan Racecourse in Dubai into a world of motoring entertainment, which will involve events and attractions themed around motoring, intended to delight and entertain audiences and offer them engaging experiences. There will be an incredible mix of cars, live music, interactive games and competitions with plenty of giveaways on the day, and more, creating a fun day out for families and tourists. And finally from November 27 to November 29, the 36th Dubai International Rally will be held in the Madam, Hatta and Filli areas on the outskirts of Dubai over ten stages, including the Super Special Stage. The Dubai World Trade Centre will serve as the venue for the ceremonial start of the rally on November 27, as well as the ceremonial finish and prize-giving on November 29.
