Amazon India Fashion Week: Think Pink

If you thought bright pink was meant for Spring Summer months then you’re wrong. At the recently concluded Amazon India Fashion Week, this statement hue made a triumphant arrival offset with broody grey, neutral black and off-whites.

Designer Anupama Dayal in her tribute to the city of tehzeeb — Lucknow sent out a pale pink dagger printed kaftan tunic, Pero put the spotlight on the cheery hue by mixing pink with orange — for instance, a beautiful knit jumper (crafted from Merino wool) was teamed with a pair of orange trousers and her models even sported pink lips and matching headbands. Nikasha and Namrata Joshipura toyed with this pop tone in their own styles. While the former stuck to her festive zone, NJ’s take was more glam futuristic.
