Acclaimed sociologist & humanitarian Dr Ankur Pare puts focus on displaced families through his book

He has detailed how development is displacing a large number of families from their native land and causing severe socio-economic, environmental, and cultural problems.

Dr Ankur Pare is an internationally acclaimed sociologist, educationist, author, and philanthropist from the state of Madhya Pradesh. He is a multifaceted personality, who has done extensive research on many sociological issues and has worked on the grassroots level for the upliftment of the underprivileged section of the society.

For the last many years, Dr Pare has been working with farmers, laborers, and industrial workers. He has organized numerous camps related to new agricultural techniques, water conservation, skill development, girl education and, communicable diseases, etc. During his social work in the rural and industrial sectors, he came across the peculiar problems of families displaced due to economical issues or industrial expansions. He has cited the ordeal of such families in his book “Sociological studies of displaced families.” He has detailed how development is displacing a large number of families from their native land and causing severe socio-economic, environmental, and cultural problems.

Not only this he has also written a research paper on the Study of the social status of affected families due to Hydro-electric and Irrigation Projects for the development of Madhya Pradesh.  Dr Ankur Pare has always been concerned about the effect of developmental projects on rural India. He also has many other research papers related to this area of concern.

The reason for such tremendous concern for rural India somewhere lies in his family background and upbringing. Dr. Pare was born in a Duliya village in the small district Harda of Madhya Pradesh. His early education was done in the village school, later in Harda, and higher education in Bhopal. Due to his association with the village, he has seen and understood their problems and plight at a practical level.

Dr Pare was Post Doctoral Research Fellow at ICSSR, Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India.He has done Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship under the supervision of famous sociologist Dr (Shrimati) Shree Dwivedi. He has done a doctorate under renowned sociologist and educationist Dr Asha Singh. He not only works for farmer’s upliftment but has been putting serious efforts for the girl-child education in the villages, and encourages girls dropped out of school to rejoin. He also organizes self-employment training camps for young men and women.

Dr Ankur Pare has presented many research papers on international Podium. He has participated in various seminars and workshops related to sustainable development, Tribal unrest, Government and Pressure groups, Social Media and Society, Globalization, and Indian Society to name a few.

He has worked on various important national projects and studied Rehabilitation, Compensation, Occupation, Cast & Religion. Educational status, Housing Condition, Marital Status, Condition of Women, Cultural Impact, Indigenous rights of the displaced families, etc.

He has an unmatched dedication to work for a huge section that has been left deprived of many rights and facilities in the race of development. His mission is to strengthen India in the Social, Political, and Economical sphere and help in creating a system that works faster on every front, with peoples’ cooperation. He is a firm supporter of good governance, crime-free politics, citizen Charter, right to information, and transparency. He also wants to make India a leading nation in education and research.
