Since the age of 7, when other children are playing video games and watching cartoons, Raghu Bhatia had already decided what he wanted to be in life, an actor. He participated in several theatre competitions to brush up his skills for the future. However, it was still not easy for him as he had to convince his family about the career choice he made at such a young age. His family discouraged him a lot and he did a lot of efforts to win their trust.
Raghu Bhatia changed his name in the belief that it might bring some luck to Raghuraja Bhatia and moved to the financial capital of the country, Mumbai when he was merely 18 years old. He auditioned for numerous projects and roles for 3 months and was then offered a role in the show “Suvreen Guggal- Topper of The Year”. This serial changed his life as it became very popular among teenagers and they started liking it a lot. Working alongside talented actors like Mohit Malik, Smriti Kalra, Shivin Narang, and Akshay Anand, Raghuraja Bhatia made his mark in the industry with his skills and dedication. After almost working for 2 years, he suddenly had to move to Delhi to take care of his mother who was going through some serious health problems at the time.
But, despite being in Delhi and dealing with the decline in offers, he never felt demotivated and continued to strive for success. After ensuring the good health of his mother, Raghu Bhatia decided to become a producer which was a bigger challenge for him. He started his production banner named Neel Rishi Films Pvt. Ltd, under which the first film produced was “Jaane Kyun De Yaaron”. This movie starred many celebrities like the veteran actor Kabir Bedi, Akshay Anand, Chetna Pandey, and Viju Khote along with Raghuraja Bhatia himself. Even the songs of the film were adorned by the attractive voices of Raghu Bhatia, Arijit Singh, and Mamta Sharma, it faced some issues with its release, and the digital rights were then given to Amazon Prime. In 2020, Raghu Bhatia signed up for a music video named “Tu Hi Toh Tha” which was released in March 2021, the same day his father passed away of COVID-19.
Even though life has not been easy for him, he believes in working hard and moving forward in life and showcasing his talent before the world. He plans to go to London and enrolling himself in an acting course after the COVID-19 pandemic is over as well as try out things in the music industry.
