Morning: I meditate which always helps me go through the hectic day. In my breakfast I like to have a fruit, vitamins, milk and a toast. As I live in South Mumbai, commute to the suburbs is a part of my day. I check my mails and make sure that the communication for the day has been updated. We also do a lot of online sourcing so my i Pad and 3 G connection is my lifeline. I see the list of things which I need to do and prioritise. I check the look books on my mail and select the looks from that. Also, I mull over the presentations I need to send out.

Sourcing: I usually go to Lower Parel and suburbs for sourcing. I select the fabrics and meet the tailors to ensure that everything is perfectly executed and make sure that the finish, fit and cut is right for the commercial shoot. Also, I need to ensure that it's in line with the brand style and celebrity endorsing it because money is online. If a celeb gives an 8 hour shift to a brand I have to ensure that there are no costume delays.

Fittings: Sometimes there are either one or multiple fittings during a day. Event fitting usually happen in Bandra as celebs are there. Fittings happen with a range of designers and then we decide the accessories. A brand shoot involves alterations and backups.
Work happens and unfolds as you move. A lot of last minute things happen like if an actor calls and requests an appearance the next day then that has to be included in your schedule and delegate work to your assistant. I usually carry my own lunch as I don't like to eat junk and usually have it in my car.

Full-day shoot: Usually the call time is morning and one has to reach ahead of time. You have to segregate the looks, keep everything ready because celebs come later. If you have prepped well before hand then you do not need to do the fittings. At the shoot, you have to constantly watch and monitor and there's no off-time. Also, clothes are tactile and anything may happen so you need to have a shoot kit with you. You may need to tape the outfit and have a back-up plan. Resourcefulness is the key word. For instance, in a recent shoot featuring Ileana and Virat, there was a demand for a bling element last minute, so we cut a metallic necklace and stitched the parts on the shoulders of the outfit.

Evening: I only go for events if I have to. I usually carry a change in the car. I like to leave early as late night affects my productivity.
