Little Fish: A memoir from a different kind of year

This is a coming of age story of small-town girl who adjusts to city life when she starts college. It is written in an autobiographical style through journals, collages, lists and drawings. It talks about the challenges, learnings as well as the excitement of being in a new and strange environment.

American Born Chinese

The monkey King ruling over the monkeys of the world is a famous Chinese fable. Jin Wang wants to fit in, in the new neighbourhood and get adjusted as the sole Chinese American at school. 2.Manga: The Japanese style of comics where in, the reading pattern is top to bottom or right to left. They cover a wide range of topics.
3.Perzines: These are personal narratives, which are autobiographical notes about the author's experiences, opinions and stories.
4.Non-fiction: Author uses personal experiences to bring to light a greater social cause.
