Style for us is the personification of one’s character and fashion is a tool to represent style.

Experimental, exploitative, ornate, meticulous and intricate. 

Who would you love to dress up?
We’d love to dress up Meryl Streep, she is an amazing combination of beauty and brains and would love to have her inputs on our designs.

Fave fabrics and silhouettes:

Natural silks, satin, chanderi, jacquard are our favourite tools in terms of fabrics and we like to keep a minimalist but very meticulous approach to our silhouettes.

What inspires you? Your springboard of inspiration…

We are highly inspired by architecture especially from art Nouveau — mix of both ornate designs and geometric forms.

It is sometimes an amalgamation of facts and fiction. A lot of artists and today’s modern technology also inspire me.

Style is individual, and inherent, it doesn’t follow fashion or trends. Fashion is constantly changing, style is permanent. Fashion gives you the canvas to interpret your individual style, never imitate and be yourself.

Pop art, modern, balance, texture, edgy.

Anushka Sharma.

Fave fabrics and silhouettes:
Pure cottons and silks, since we work with prints, the quality of colour and design is beautiful on these fabrics. Classic silhouettes, with colour blocking, structure but with a sense of fluidity in the garment. Jackets would be the top favourite!

What inspires you? Your springboard of inspiration...

We are inspired by our experiences. We are a sum of our experiences. Japanese Graphics have had strong influences on our work.

Unexpected, exaggerated, harmonious, mysterious and individualistic.

Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, essentially women with real and strong personalities.

Fave fabrics and silhouettes:
Any fabric that has a personality to it. It just can’t be a run of the mill fabric. It should have a story, a sense of history. I like clean silhouettes and beautifully cut fabric.

What inspires you? Your springboard of inspiration...
Stories inspire me. I love stories. Anything from fairy tales, fantasy, myths to legends and even real life episodes.
