Make-up on the go is all about strategically combining products and application techniques to stunning effect

Don't leave home without a base
Applying foundation right, requires proper light. Cabs and cars don't always offer the best lighting conditions, so take five minutes before dashing out your door to apply your foundation. Ensure that there's a concealer in your handbag for any spots that need a quick fix or extra coverage. If you don't have any time to do the foundation at home, grab the concealer and apply where needed and blend blend blend into the skin before topping with powder.

An eye on style
Steer clear of precise lines and multi-step looks. A product with a built-in applicator makes things much easier.
A liner with a smudge tip on the end can help blend liner on the go. Don't over think the line; just apply it close to your lash line and smudge with the tool on the other end.

At your fingertips
Although fingers are a great tool for makeup application (especially when you find your blush-brush missing), try not to use them too much while travelling. If you have no other choice, be sure to disinfect you hands properly before touching your face.

The clean up
Cotton buds are a great tool to clean up small mistakes, whether you are at home or on-the-go. Make-up remover pads come in handy too. You can tear off a bit to clean up around the lips if the line isn't straight.
