Broccoli is a spectacular health vegetable. 'B' for Broccoli and 'B' for brilliant for health. It comes as a unique health package of a variety of vitamins, phytochemicals, and antioxidants. Interestingly, an ounce of boiled broccoli has more vitamin C than one full orange, as much calcium as a glass of milk, and more fiber than a slice of wheat bread!

It has Vitamin C, sulphur and amino acids, which help in detoxification. It purifies the blood, washes away toxins and improves skin and health. Anti-oxidants, Vitamin E and Omega 3 fatty acids keep the skin supple and glowing.

Broccoli is a rich source of fiber and roughage, hence it helps in curing digestive disorders like constipation, facilitates proper digestion and absorption of nutrients from the food and thus prevents stomach inflammations.

The beta-carotene Omega 3, high fiber and Vitamin B content present in broccoli make it a heart-friendly food by regulating blood pressure and reducing cholesterol.

Broccoli is also wonderful in prevention of ocular disorders.

Being a rich source of calcium, besides minerals like magnesium, zinc and phosphorous, it is wonderful for bone health and thus prevents osteoporosis, weakening of bones and teeth.
