The eternal bond of love

Deity, Idol, Divine, Supernatural, Worship — these are the apparent few immediate expressions that one thinks when we say, GOD. And then comes the rigmarole about His existence via these very mediums which cascades to create the great divide — that of believers and atheists!

We have a very black and white world, wherein archetypal customs govern us and deep-rooted traditions shape us to become either followers or skeptics. Both concepts can be positive as well as negative, but only characteristic with the set of standards that mankind has restricted itself to through its journey to evolution.

The quest is, what he really mean to me? I am neither a believer nor an atheist in the whole perspective of God that is largely existent for a long time now. But, I would say that I am a devoted follower as well as a questioner, to the spirit of life and so, God for me is an abstract constructive energy.

Having the innocent quest, the indomitable spirit to grow, the determination to advance oneself, the dedication to live and serve, the tolerance, the acceptance, the grit to face challenges, compassion towards all, the enthusiasm to spread happiness, the passion to create, the resolve to make peace and the desire to love and be loved — these actions and reactions to me are divine!

God to me means — the rising sun which teaches us to rise each day, the roaring waves that inspire us to bounce back even after turbulence, the flowing rivers that keep moving on gracefully, the winds that help us to sail and the trees which selflessly serve till their last fall.

GOD to me means — nurturing a child, sharing knowledge, educating people, encouraging growth and respecting harmony and peace. He means — the eternal bond of love, the soul connections, the entire gamut of relationships including those we share with mankind in general — that of humanity!

This boundless positive energy lies within each one of us….and is waiting to gush and spread happiness, optimism, faith, and love in each life. It is for each one of us to set ourselves free and let this oomph within us flow uninhibited and thereby help the human race, experience this divinity that motivates the spirit of our lives!

I dare you — Go! Do one good act or good deed today with all your heart. It could be as simple as cooking someone’s favourite meal or as small as just saying hello to someone who is waiting to hear from you.

The gratification you will feel through expressions or actions of people or your own self after the deeds, this very feeling of contentment, serenity, pleasure and happiness — is GOD!
