Fresh out of college, Mannu goes for a job interview in a reputed company.

Interviewer: Wow! You’re a graduate with honours and a university topper, too. Congratulations.

Mannu: (Excited) Thank you so much, Sir. This means a lot to me. When can I start?

Interviewer: Right now.

Mannu: Wow! So what do you want me to do?

Interviewer: Leave

Mannu: Leave? So do you want me to start from tomorrow?

Interviewer: No. I don’t want you to ever come back.

Mannu: (Confused) I beg your pardon. A minute ago, you praised my grades and told me ‘Congrats’. So why am I not getting the job?

Interviewer: Believe me, you are perfect for the job, but I just can’t hire you. You don’t have any experience. And we are looking out for someone with at least three years of experience.

Mannu: But Sir, how will I get experience if I don’t work?

Interviewer: Well, you’re right about not getting experience till you don’t get the job.  But, the truth is you don’t get the job till you get the experience.

Dejected, Mannu leaves. Kuch samjhe? Nahin samjhe? Samjhata hoon, samjhata hoon.

Life is such. Jo galat hai wohi sahi hai. Aur jo sahi hai woh bahot baar galat hain. Just like this ad which has become quite popular nowadays.

It’s about a traffic app which tells you about traffic congested paths to avoid and take the other route which is less congested. The paradox here is they’ve obviously made this ad for everybody to use this app. And if everybody uses this app then there will be too much traffic on the route which they’re suggesting. Amit ji ka dialogue in Aakhree Raasta comes to mind, “Yahan se mujhe yeh 6 dikhta hai aur tumhe wahan se 9”.

Just like this mobile ad which shows rural villages flourishing by making products out of mud using the internet through the mobile. When you don’t get proper network in the cities, gaon to bahot durr ki baat hain.
