As I sat in my favourite place (The Taj Mahal Tea House), I thought to myself, 'What do we look for in relationships? Love, looks or sex?'
I met a couple of models while there (Candice Pinto, who just got engaged and her to-be bridesmaids Dipti Gujral and another leggy lass). Candice was planning her wedding while there and looked as radiant as the first day I set eyes on her at the Gladrags Model Hunt.
Next was the Boss's (Salman Khan) childhood friend, an RJ, who, like Salman, hasn't aged a year. Third, was this restaurateur, Nitin, who complemented me on my gay diary that he thought was very gusty of me to write.
Well, as I was about to get up from my hot masala Parsi mint tea, I got a message from a friend about KJo's new column. I read it and thought to myself, 'Is it so difficult to find love in this city? And more than that, to find sex' (according to KJo)?
That night, I could not get what he said out of my head. Then, I thought to myself, Candice has found love and it is culminating in marriage. My RJ friend is married for the last 15 years and Nitin, I know, is married for the last 20.
So, there I was, wondering what one looks for — love and looks or — looks and sex? Well, I haven't been able to figure that one out yet, but knew that you don't need to have sex to have kids (like Tusshar Kapoor, I knew I could have one, too, and even convince my boss to have one, too.)
So there I was, feeling single and fabulous, not worrying about any of those wrinkles on my face. I dropped my guard and decided to have another cup of tea and hoped and prayed that either 'love and looks' or 'looks and sex' would walk right through that door.
