Embark perfume

The city recently saw two interesting launches in the world of fragrances. First off, Varsha Dalal a veteran in luxury perfumes, launched the Embark line of Fine Fragrances for the millennials in Mumbai. Young people on the go, who aspire to the likes of Chloé and Hermes and Chanel fragrances can now avail of these quality perfumes at a reasonable rate.

Embark, for instance, is pitched as an urban contemporary perfume made in India. The range, titled 'My Story, My Passion, My Dream, My Life' both for men and women promises the ingredients from the best sources available.

Dalal said, "Embark is a fragrance of highest quality at efficient prices for trendy, fashion conscious men and women. This fragrance empowers its audience with confidence of a product made by some of the best perfumers in the world. It is 100 per cent cruelty free and Made in India."

This range of fragrances will soon be available in India.

At the other end of the spectrum, Mumbai saw a sluice of celebrities heading to the Palladium Mall for the launch of Maison des Parfums, a joint venture of Beauty Concepts Pvt. Ltd, whose portfolio includes brands like Bvlgari, Guerlain, Ferragamo, L'Occitane and Estée Lauder. Seema Bahety of BCPL played host at the spanking new store with a collection of artisanal fine fragrances curated from all over the world to include perfumes from Memo, Amouage, Nassomatto, Juliette has a Gun, Jean Patou, Bulgari Le Gemme, The Different Company, Amouroud, Houbigant, Etat Libre D'Orange, Rance, Lalique Premier Noir, Olfactive Studio, Franck Boclet, One of Those and other well-known brands.
