After a tense night when ST-11’s body was found in Bhartrihari area of Sariska, a postmortem was conducted in the DFO office at the Sariska headquarters in the presence of a medical board, senior forest officers, Tehsildar and police officials.

There are several reasons behind the feline’s death. The tiger was over 10 years of age. There is also a possibility that the feline may have died of tranquiliser overdose or due to any reaction from it. However, that is a far-fetched but all angles will be investigated,” officials said.
