Vasundhara Raje talks development, offers rewards in Pipalda

Raje spoke of development works worth Rs 1,500 crore that have been taken up by the state govenment over the last four years.

Continuing on her whirlwind tour under the jan samwad programme to establish people-to-people connect, chief minister Vasundhara Raje arrived in Pipalda, Kota to a warm reception by beneficiaries of government schemes. In her address to the locals, Raje spoke of development works worth Rs 1,500 crore that have been taken up by the state govenment over the last four years. 

“There is visible transformation in Pipalda, where earlier nobody wanted to step in because of backwardness and unavailability of facilities,” Raje said on Wednesday, while speaking in Jan Samwad held in Etawa town of Pipelda area. She charged the previous Congress government of ignoring the assembly constituency. They spent only Rs 360 crore in the entire tenure, she added.

Raje reminded the locals of the major development projects underway in the region that would benefit the towns and villages in Pipalda. She said the construction work of road highway project worth Rs121 crore for Gaita- Makheja bridge is underway, while sub-stations with the installed capacity of 33 KV are being set up in Kutradeepsingh, Railgaun, Luhawda, Gaita, Dungrali and  Sumnapur areas. Parvan – Akawada drinking water project and Haripura – Manji drinking water scheme have also been sanctioned, she added.

The chief minister spoke to the beneficiaries of various government-run welfare schemes. Chandabai, Dayaram, Neetu, Rajaram, the beneficiaries of Bhamasha health insurance scheme and parents of Jaswant, Rekha, Visham beneficiaries of national child health programme explained how their lives have turned for the better because of the schemes. 

Some 3,500 beneficiaries in Pipalda received insurance claims of Rs19 lakh, 61 thousand under Bhamasha health insurance scheme, Raje was told by the officials.
