Chief minister Vasundhara Raje’s Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra halted at famous Tripura Sundri Temple on Tuesday morning. It was earlier planned that she should go for darshan on Monday evening itself, but things could not be materialised given the public meetings scheduled for the day took more than the allotted time.
The CM is believed to be a firm believer of goddess Tripura Sundri and whenever she is in Banswara, she makes it a point to pay the temple a visit. On Monday, during one of her public meetings, Raje had said that darshan of Tripura Sundari gives him a divine inner strength. Raje reached the temple using a helicopter from Banswara and reached Tripura Sundhari dham on Tuesday morning and prayed for the wellness and prosperity of the state. She was received by priests Pandit Divyabharat Pandya and Pandit Nikunj Mohan Pandya . Under their supervision, Raje offered 300 lotus flowers and performed several rituals that went on for about an hour. On this occasion, CM Raje also offered a garland made of flowers for the Tripura Sundari Devi and performed aarti.
