Chief minister Vasundhara Raje met the family members of those who died in the cylinder blast in Beawar and offered her condolences. She announced a relief of Rs 2 lakh each to the family of the deceased while Rs 50,000 to the injured from the CM’s relief fund. Apart from this, Shree Cement has also announced a compensation of Rs 1 lakh to the family of the deceased.

Raje on Saturday went to Amrit Kaur Hospital in Beawar and in JLN Hospital Ajmer and met the injured. She told the doctors to handle these cases with utmost care and negligence would not be tolerated at any cost.  Raje said the PWD  will ascertain the damage done to the houses and the compensation will be fixed and paid likewise.

She also ordered Ajmer collector Gaurav Goyal to immediately release the relief amount to the affected. Raje also asked Army officials at Nasirabad cantt to pitch in and clear the debris. The chief minister has also ordered the managing director of Ajmer discom to ensure regular supply of electricity to the area and ordered principal secretary of PHED  to solve the problems related to drinking water and pipeline. Meanwhile, despite the gas cylinder blast at Beawar town in Ajmer on Thursday, where 10 people died and 20 were injured during a wedding cermony, life was back to normal.

Although groom Hemant Patlecha and bride Ritu Deora were shattered after losing their near and dear ones in the accident, they decided to solemnise their marriage against all odds. Hemant, a resident of Beawar, lost 10 relatives, including his mother Aichuki Devi, while Ritu’s sister Supriya was also slated to get married on Friday evening.  When Hemant had gone out to spit pan, tragedy struck out of nowhere. But he survived the mishap.

The pain of losing his mother was obvious on Hemant’s face but his desire to get married hadn’t faded. However, Hemant, who was accompanied by a friend, decided to complete the ritual but without any flamboyance. Wedding rituals were completed but in an inconsolable atmosphere. Hemant took saat phere with Ritu in a simple ceremony and then took the bride with him
