On her one day trip to Gujarat, where state assembly elections are due, the Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje came heavily on AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi for his alleged derogatory remarks against women. Raje said that people of Gujarat will reply to his comment in better way in election and the BJP will form government again.

Raje on Thursday attended ‘Gujarat Gaurav Yatra’ along with Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani, Union Minister Uma Bharti and toured various places including Deesa (Banaskantha), Bhilari, Khimana, Sihohi (Kankrej), Devdar and Vav. Addressing public meetings, Raje praised Union government schemes and claimed that party will register victory in assembly election in Gujarat.
She also hit out at Rahul for his remarks on women’s dress. “Making indecent remark against women, Rahul has insulted not only women of Gujarat but also of entire country. Now Gujarat women power will reply to him in the election,” said Raje, blaming Congress for creating enmity among the communities with its appeasement policy which in past also stalled the development of the nation.
Raje further said that under leadership of the Prime minister Narendra Modi the nation is emerging as a strong power globally . Modi is working for upli of poor through various schemes like Ujjvala Scheme, Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, she said. Meanwhile, Rupani who was present along with Raje appreciated Bhamashah scheme which is a flagship scheme of Rajasthan government under which cash transfer of all government schemes is credited into the account of beneficiaries.
After attending Gujarat Gaurav Yatra , Raje was scheduled to stay in Banswara. Due to poor visibility her chopper could not fly and she decided to stay in Udaipur. On Friday she will tour Mandalgarh assembly constituency where by-election is due following untimely death of Kirti Kumari.
