Vasundhara Raje Cabinet paves way for investments and jobs

A Cabinet meeting headed by chief minister Vasundhara Raje, which took place after 3 months, approved investment proposals worth more than Rs 6,000 crore and rolled out customised packages and rebates for the upcoming projects.

Out of 27 points of discussion in the meeting, around 13 pertained to the approval of various investment proposals given by the industrialists. It is expected that these investments would provide employment to about 15,000 people.

Briefing the media about the decisions of the cabinet, parliamentary affairs minister Rajendra Rathore said that the government has approved rebates in stamp duty, electricity duty among other relaxations under customized packages to the companies.

The investments will be coming up in various sectors including guar gum powder, gypsum based industries, textiles and yarn.

Siyaram services limited has proposed to start a BPO. This BPO will be coming up at Chatrala circle in Sitapura Industrial area. 

Rathore informed that the BPO, which will be set up in Sitapura, shall be the third such in state and will bring in an investment of Rs 140 crore.

Vallabh Pitti group which has already projected an investment of Rs2000 core in Jhalwar has also been given rebate in stamp duty and electricity duty. 

The other proposals include investment proposals by Wonder Cement and Bangur Cement. Rathore quipped teh state was becoming a cement hub.

Not only cement but it seems Rajasthan is also becoming a center of auto ancillary units.

The cabinet has also given approval to a proposal of setting up an auto-parts manufacturing unit at Karoli (Alwar) to the tune of Rs 432 crore. Proposal regarding a  PVC pipe manufacturing unit was also approved by the cabinet on Wednesday.

Rathore informed that in Asalpur, Jobner, a proposal of investment of Rs140 crore has been approved.
