Vasudhara Raje assures Rajasthan a brighter Diwali

Scarcity of coal supplies will not be allowed to dampen the Diwali spirit. Chief minister Vasudhara Raje  has ordered officials to purchase electricity irrespective of cost calculations. The chief minister though also appealed to people to help reduce undue wastage of electricity.

A drop in coal supply at national level has created challenge for power generations across the country and has also impacted the electricity production at state. The resultant load shredding has been a cause of public concern that got addressed by the chief minister.

"I share the concern of state residents relating to scarcity of electricity, especially during festival of light people should not struggle for power," said the chief minister addressing a "Mukhymantri Jansamvad" on her visit to Kekri in Ajmer district.

The Jansamwad remains a platform for general public to connect with the chief minister. The event held at Kekri on Saturday also is being seen as a boost for the party ahead of the parliamentary by-elections due in Ajmer constituency. The public connect program was also accompanied with several assurance of development for these areas.

"Our government is not limited to making announcement but also bring them under implementation," said the CM. "It’s our approach of inclusive development that has helped us understand the complexities faced at ground level and has earned trust of people from all sections and communities," she added.

This support was also reflected by representatives of various communities to meet the chief minister during her visit. Her convoy on its way from helipad to the public meeting venue at Kerkri was received with overwhelming welcome by locals at more than a dozen places. Representatives of Rajput and Ravna Rajput communities met her separately to assure support of their communities.

At the Jansamwad, the chief minister also invoked people towards the cause of girl child and environment conservation. The CM asked people to come forth and plant trees to celebrate being parent of a girl child.

Nasirabad four wards de-notified

The efforts of chief minister have finally paid as relief for nearly 36000 residents of four wards in Nasirabad. These wards till now falling under the army cantonment will soon be de-notified. Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman has recently approved the process following the letters written by chief minister requesting action in this direction. These wards so far included in the army cantonment limits were devoid of development schemes of the local urban bodies.

Funds assured for CHC at Sarwad.

Chief minister sanctioned release of Rs 5.25 crore for development of Community Health Center (CHC) building at Sarwad. The local representatives of the area met the CM with the demand which was immediately addressed by her. The CHC in the area is presently operational from its old building despite new land sanctioned for its development.

Second phase of Annapurna Kitchen

Second phase of the chief minister's flagship community kitchen program, Annapurna Rasoi will be launched on Monday. Raje is expected to officially launch the second phase at a ceremony scheduled at Vijayalakshmi Park in Ajmer. The scheme to provide affordable food through mobile kitchen vans is presently operational in 12 cities and is expected to extend to all cities by end of this year. In the second phase, 500 more mobile kitchen vans will be put.
