Vasudev Israni murder case: Shooter held in Chandigarh

Shooter Bhomaram, who fired on businessman Vasudev Israni a month ago in Sardarpura area was caught in Chandigarh.

A man named Aman,who had given shelter to Bhomaram in Chandigarh has also been arrested. Jodhpur Police Commissionerate had arrested Harendra Jat and Lawrence’s brother Anmol two days ago from Ahmedabad. Harendra had threatened to kill Israni.

As such the police has arrested almost all other accused except the second shooter Kali Rajput of the gang who was behind the threatening and killing of Vasudev Israni for ransom.Harendra has been sent to judicial custody for identity, where he will go under identification parade in Jodhpur jail. Anmol is also on police remand and police is interrogating him.

Notably, Israni, a Jodhpur businessman, was murdered for not paying protection money to a gang of criminals. The incident has embarrassed the police as the same victim had been shot at three months ago.
