Udaipur boys top CBSE Class 10th exams

Ajmer region has stood 3rd in the country in giving best result, which was 91.86 per cent; 1,81,000 students had appeared & more than 1L passed the exam

Shrikant Dikshit and Dhruv Bohra from Udaipur topped the Ajmer region by scoring 99% marks in 10th standard board results of schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) were declared on Tuesday.
Ajmer region has stood third in the country in giving best result. The result of Ajmer region was 91.86%.

Last year the result percentage of Ajmer region was 93.30%. Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai had stood first and second respectively.

In Ajmer region this year, 1,81,000 students had appeared and more than 1 lakh have passed these examinations.As soon as results were declared at about 2 pm, 2 hours before the schedule time, the students and their anxious parents started logging onto the website of CBSE.

Large number of city students have excelled in these examinations. City’s Yana Gupta of Jayshree Periwal High school has secured 98.8% which is being said to be the highest in the city . As soon as the school realised this , both the management and students got ecstatic. Harshil Sethi, student of Maheshwari Public School, secured 97.83% marks. Harshil got 99% marks in social science and French, 98% marks in Mathematics and 97% marks in Science.

Minal Gupta of Subodh School secured 97.2 % . the school authorities of IIS school, informed that Arushi Goyal of the school secured 97.8%. 55 students of the school out of 229 have scored 90% and above.

Apart from these students, large number of students have secured percentage in 90s. There has been a change in the way CBSE has declared the results this year.
