A dispute was reported between medical and health minister Kalicharan Saraf and parliamentary secretary Bhimabhai over the transfers of government employees at BJP state headquarters on Monday. In front of the party office-bearers and workers, there was a heated debate between the two and party office bearers calmed them down.

Saraf was hearing the grievances of party workers during the Jan Sunwai program on Monday at the BJP state headquarters. In the meantime, Bhimabhai also reached the public hearing with his grievance and gave a transfer application to Saraf, which was put aside by the health minister and agitated Bhimabhai got upset over this. He said that you have not even seen the application and put it aside.

Saraf asked the legislator to try and understand the things. “This will happen if you will approach like this,” he added. I had raised the issue of vacant posts at a community health care centre in my constituency. I have no other issues with anyone, other than related to the people of my constituency, Bheema Bhai told when asked about the incident.

Saraf said that “Kagaz Jaise aata hai, vaise jata hai. There is more crowd in the office right now. I will see this application later.” Bhimabhai expressed anger over the behaviour of Saraf and there was a heated debate between the two. Later, party office bearers calmed them down. Earlier this month, Saraf was seen in a video saying that employees having connections with influential people were more likely to be transferred to posts of their choice.

Those who have approach got priority, he had said.

The ‘Last’ Scuffle

Few days ago, reports of a heated argument and scuffle between two serving ministers swept through the party office and the corridors of power in Rajasthan. The incident allegedly involved minister of state for education Vasudev Devnani and minister of state for health Banshidhar Bajiya. The two were reportedly summoned at the party office after the fracas. However, the ministers, and the office bearers of BJP denied the reports of arguments. Sources said that the fracas was tipping point of an argument which began on the issue of transfers in the education department.
