Ticket distribution will be done on merit: CM Vasundhara Raje tells aspirants

Currently touring Bikaner division as part of Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra, chief minister Vasundhara Raje said that the ticket distribution will be done on the basis of survey. 

Speaking in Lalgarh during her welcome programme, Raje said that everyone needs to come together to support the one who gets the ticket on merit after the survey is held.

The CM made the statement regarding the tickets on Saturday during two welcome programmes at Sakhawalee and Lalgarh. Earlier during the day, APO order of sending Sunita Choudhary, Commissioner of Nagar Parishad Sri Ganganagar was issued by the department of personnel. The action was taken on Friday night after the people of the area complained to Raje about poor roads. 

Later speaking at public meeting in Sadulshahar, Raje extolled the works done by the government for the people in the state. Raje categorically mentioned that the state has made progress in the field of education and highlighted that previously the state ranked 26th, but now it ranks 2nd in education. She said that about 16 lakh students had switched from private schools to government schools. She said that the government is working towards women empowerment and for the welfare of the girl child. 

She also underscored various schemes the government has started to encourage acceptance of girl child in the state. She said that girls were indeed Lakshmi and meritorious girls are being duly awarded with bicycles, scooties and laptops.

Raje also praised the prime minister Narendra Modi for starting the Mudra Scheme.
