Since coal stock is being developed now, therefore the top management of RVUNL has given full schedule to the power generation units.
After the power management was done successfully during Diwali in the state, Rajasthan Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited ( RVUNL) is making its best efforts for the same success during the Rabi season now.
Officials inform that there has been major improvement in the availability of coal stock in the state. Currently on an average per day 16-17 rakes of coal are getting loaded. This is almost one and times increase in the supply of coal in comparison to recent past.
Since coal stock is being developed now, therefore the top management of RVUNL has given full schedule to the power generation units.
Officials inform that there is overall improvement in supply position and therefore the officials are hopeful that by Rabi season, power position would improve substantially.
Sources informed that the state government had also stepped into this to improve the coal situation and it has been learnt that the chief minister also spoke to the power minister in this regard. As such there has been a substantial improvement in coal availability.
The officials are hoping that by the time the need for agriculture arises, while the coal stock would further improve, there would also be a drop in the temperature. This will lead to drop in the demand of electricity from other segments of consumers.
