Special ACB court seeks probe report on Health Minister Kalicharan Saraf and son

Special court for ACB cases has sought investigating report in complaint filed against health minister Kalicharan Saraf, his son Vivek Saraf, deputy secretary in health department Ajay Aswal, then registrar of Rajasthan Nursing council Govind Sharma and a person named Shivpal Yadav. The court has asked for the report on May 14.

The complainant Shanker Lal Gurjar accused these persons of taking bribe for recognition to nursing college. Gurjar’s lawyer A K Jain said that his client received a CD that contains conversation between Vivek Saraf and other accused with Suman Rawat who is owner of Liberty and Upchar Nursing College. The conversation took place on a petrol pump in Jagatpura. The CD was placed in the court along with the complaint.

“It is clear from the conversation that Suman Rawat gave huge money as bribe to nursing registrar Govind Sharma to for recognition of nursing college,” Jain said. The lawyer also claimed that Vivek Saraf was heard giving guarantee that work would be done.  The complaint alleged that note sheet was changed in recognition of nursing colleges.

It was alleged that Suman Rawat paid Rs 20 lakh. “It is clear after hearing conversation that Ajay Agarwal and Govind Sharma took huge sums of money,” the complainant alleged. 

According to the complaint, even if a person is not public servant but involved in corruption to get work done from a public servant, he is also accused under anti corruption act.

The complaint also mentioned a newspaper report in this matter but alleged that no action was taken by the accused, which proves that the matter is true. “Additional chief secretary Veenu Gupta has also heard this conversation but took no was action,” the complainant alleged and claimed that he has also filed a complaint to he ACB.
