Shahpura SHO Virendra Singh Rathore shoots himself with revolver

In a shocking incident that occurred late on Thursday night, a cop committed suicide at his official quarters by shooting himself with the service revolver. The incident sent the police department in a tizzy as the officer was one of the hardworking and productive police officers.

According to the policr, the SHO of Shahpura police station Virendra Singh Rathore shot himself on Thursday late night. According to officials, the SHO was in his office in the police station on Thursday evening when at night he retired to his quarters. As the man shot himself, the gunshot was heard by other cops who immediately rushed to the spot and found about the incident. 

Though he was rushed to a hospital the cop was declared brought dead. Senior officials including Jaipur Rural SP were informed about the incident who rushed to the spot. The reason for suicide is unknown as yet and the police will launch a probe into the matter.
