Barely a day ago chief minister Vasundhara Raje changed the name of her impending state-wide Suraj Suraj Gaurav Yatra to Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra and things seems to have turned sour. The state president of Bharat Vahini Party (BVP) Ghanshyam Tiwari has slammed BJP for ripping off the name of his yatra.
A couple of days ago Tiwari had announced to conduct Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra across the state under the banner of BVP and it was on Thursday (July 26) after deliberation that the name of CM’s yatra was changed.
Subsequently, Tiwari called a press conference at his residence on Friday and slammed the ruling party saying, “BJP and the chief minister have stolen the name of the Bharat Vahini Party ‘s yatra- Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra. It is utterly unethical and dishonest.”
Tiwari added that this has exposed BJP’s intellectual bankruptcy. He also questioned the chief minister’s yatra saying that her family has hurt the sentiments of Rajasthan for generations and he expressed his surprise on CM Raje’s yatra starting from Charbhuja Temple.

Bharatiya Janata Party’s yatra which would be spearheaded by chief minister Vasundhara Raje was rechristened as Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra on Thursday. It was, until now, planned and publicised as Suraj Gaurav Yatra, the third in the series by chief minister Raje in the state.
‘It’s Unethical’
Ghanshyam Tiwari called a press conference at his residence on Friday and said, “BJP and the chief minister Raje have stolen the name of the Bharat Vahini Party ‘s yatra- Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra. It is utterly unethical and dishonest.”
