The city’s social media and local media houses went into a tizzy on Sunday after there were rumours that papers of the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2017 had leaked.

However, chairman of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) BL Chaudhary denied such claims while speaking to DNA.

“There has been no leak in this year’s question papers.Someone had leaked the question papers of Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers 2011,” Chaudhary said.

The written examination was held in place of the interview for the recruitment of teachers for primary and middle government schools. It was conducted across 300 centres in Jaipur district on Sunday.

The candidates, who had appeared for several subjects like Hindi, English, social studies, science, and maths, found the paper of psychology the most difficult.Candidates appearing for both levels felt the psychology section was not according to the book.

“The English and Hindi exams were according to my expectation. However, psychology was not from the book. It was difficult,” said Rajesh Kamal, a candidate for level 2.

Suman Sharma, a 36-year-old candidate for level 1,also said that it was a difficult paper as all options appeared to be similar.

However, most aspirants felt the question paper was easy. Some felt some questions were outside the syllabus but worth attempting, but others felt there was nothing out of the book.
