Rajasthan University DSW warns student leaders ahead of polls

Rajasthan University has currently become the arena of student politics as posters and banners can be seen everywhere in the university, which is making the premises look bad. Whether it is the main gate of the university or the signboard, everywhere the student leaders have pasted their posters and banners. Seeing this behaviour of the student leaders, now the university administration is being strict with them.

The university’s administration has issued a final notice to the student leaders who are pasting posters and banners all over the university and ruining the RU campus. The notice has been issued on behalf of DSW on Monday. Along with the notice, a warning of registering an FIR has also been issued against the miscreants for pasting banners and posters in the campus.

Student Politics is at its peak before the proposed student union elections in the last week of August. The intensity is so high this time because the campus’s King for the last two years is being a part of this election as an independent candidate. Due to which, both the student organisations ABVP and NSUI are making extra efforts to save their place in the last student elections to take place before the upcoming assembly elections.

The increased competition is leading to pasting of banners all around and due to the competition, these student leaders have ruined the condition of the Rajasthan University campus. Speaking on the matter, RU DSW Sarina Kalia said, “Notices have been issued continuously to about one and a half dozen student leaders. More than five notices have been issued to many of these student leaders, and this is the last notice. Now, if the rules are violated, then an FIR will be lodged against the students.”
