After an Other Backward Class (OBC) worker, Madan Lal Saini was made the state president, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will now change the state presidents of its frontal organisations.
BJP will do social engineering by giving representation to Rajputs, Vaishyas and Brahmins in the frontal organisations in view of the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
New state president of Yuva Morcha and Mahila Morcha are likely to be annonuced in the next three to four days. Ruling party’s general secretary(organisation) Chandrasekhar met the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) functionaries on Tuesday and discussed the possible changes in the organisation and preparations for the upcoming elections.
It may be recalled that Rajya Sabha MP Madan Lal Saini was appointed as BJP state president five days ago. Saini is the first BJP state president of the OBC community. After Saini was made as the state president, the other castes will now be represented in frontal organisations.
Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was in the forefront of BJP state presidential race. But he was not appointed the state president. In such a situation, the BJP may face opposition from the Rajput community. Rajputs are already angry with the BJP after the Anandpal encounter and Rajmahal Palace issue.
After the Shekhawat episode Rajputs have showen increased resentment against the saffron party.
Similarly, the Brahmins are angry with the BJP over Ghanshyam Tiwari episode. In such a situation, the BJP has begun to woo Rajputs and Brahmins.
According to sources, a Rajput leader can be made the state president of Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha. The name of Rajput leader Prem Singh Banwasa is being discussed, who is considered close to Om Prakash Mathur.
Similarly, the State President of the Mahila Morcha will be replaced. Madhu Sharma is currently the State President of Mahila Morcha. Other Brahmin face may replace her. Apart from this, BJP will play Vaishya card for women front. Any woman of Vaishya community can be made the state president of the women’s front. According to sources, Chandrashekhar on Tuesday visited RSS office ‘Bharti Bhawan’ and discussed the changes for two hours.
