There will be a revamp in the state executive of the BJP and some district presidents can be changed. BJP’s newly appointed state president Madan Lal Saini will form his new team, which will include old and senior party workers
In his first address to partymen, Saini had said that he would meet the party’s old workers and re-activate them. Saini had announced that the senior and old party workers will be included in the organisation. He has started working in this direction and is contacting the old and disgruntled workers of the party. According to sources, Saini has prepared a list of some senior workers and will soon announce his new team.
According to sources, some office-bearers of the former state president Ashok Parnami’s team may be eased out of the state executive. However, Saini has clarified that he will not make big changes in the old team. Saini is considered close to BJP’s national vice-president Om Prakash Mathur, whose supporters have been the sidelined from the organization for the last 10 years. Mathur supporters were not given the post in the organization.
It is believed that in the new team members of the Mathur faction may be included. After Saini assumed the charge of BJP state president, Mathur supporters have once again become active. Apart from this, the inactive office-bearers of various districts and state executive will also be removed. The BJP had launched booth verification program last month. In the meantime, the inactive workers have been marked. In view of the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections, BJP will remove the inactive workers and give the opportunity to new ones.
Saini visits Ajmer
Two days after taking over as state president, Madan Lal Saini visited Ajmer district on Monday morning. Saini took part in a meeting of Ajmer district organisation office-bearers and instructed them to prepare for the upcoming elections. From Ajmer, Saini went Vijayanagar city where state level workshop of Scheduled Caste Front was organised Saini addressed the workers of the front and in the evening addressed the representatives of various social organisations. Saini is on a tour to three districts Ajmer, Sikar and Bikaner. He will go to Sikar on Tuesday and Bikaner on Wednesday.
