For 10 days, it will be dependent only on Jawahar Nagar feeder. Areas like Barkat Nagar, Tonk Phatak, Kartarpura, Imliwala Phatak, C-Scheme, Bapu Nagar, Lal Kothi among others will be affected due to this shifting work.
From Saturday, for the next 10 days, electricity supply of major government offices including state’s most important SMS Hospital and Secretariat will be on a single source. This will happen because Rajasthan State Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (RVPN) will be shifting 132 KV double circuit line tower.
Therefore, the electricity supply at 132 KV GSS at SMS Stadium will be shut down. This work will take 10 days and therefore, the consumers which are getting supply from this GSS will get supply from a single source
Therefore, the electricity supply of Secretariat, Yojana Bhawan, SMS Hospital, Vidhan Sabha, AG office, Income Tax office, High Court and nearby residential areas will get supply from a single source. SMS Hospital is supplied electricity from two sources, the SMS Stadium feeder which is being shut for shifting of line and from Jawahar Nagar feeder.
For 10 days, it will be dependent only on Jawahar Nagar feeder. Areas like Barkat Nagar, Tonk Phatak, Kartarpura, Imliwala Phatak, C-Scheme, Bapu Nagar, Lal Kothi and a big portion of colonies on Tonk Road will be affected due to this shifting work.
This means that if there is any fault in electricity supply in this single source, the power shutdown may happen and it will take some time before this fault is rectified.
This will be a difficult situation for these officials, especially at SMS hospital for 10 days during which the shifting will go on. This shifting, due to which these important places will be on single source supply, will be happening because part of this high tension line is coming in between the Dravyavati river work.
