Union minister and Rajasthan state incharge for Lok Sabha elections Prakash Javadekar has said that the policy of the Modi government is to work for a society without social evils. He said that Raje would play a vital role in the Lok Sabha elections. He accused the Congress government of Rajasthan of not fulfilling the promises on basis of which it came to power. Javadekar also accused Congress of playing into the hands of foreign forces on the issue of EVM.

Javadekar quoted data to claim that BJP would win all 25 Lok Sabha seats. He said, “Congress has formed a government, but the difference in vote share of BJP and Congress is just .5% and that comes to mere 3 votes per booth.”

He said that the policy of Modi government is - a country that is free of casteism, communalism, unemployment and garbage. “Hamari neeti hai jativad, sampraday, berozgari, gandagi mukt Bharat,” he said. Coming at the heels of defeat in the assembly polls in three Hindi heartland states; this is a shift from its long standing slogan of Congress Mukt Bharat.

Rubbishing speculations about Raje’s absence at the Monday Parliament poll preparation meet, Javadekar said, “Raje is our leader and face of BJP. She will play a vital role in the upcoming elections.” He also said that report about people who worked against the party would be prepared. For this party leaders would undertake tours across the state in the first week of February.

Commenting on speculations about Rahul Gandhi contesting forthcoming elections from Nanded in Maharashtra he said no matter where he contests from it will be his battle of Panipat.

Javdekar came down heavily on the Congress government in Rajasthan and said that it has not fulfilled any of the promises that it made to the people before elections. Loan waiver has yet not been done, nothing has been done to provide employment and there is no talk of unemployment stipend.

He said that his ministry has issued orders for the implementation of 10% reservation for EBC in educational institutes from the coming academic session, but Rajasthan government has not done it.
