Rajasthan: 52% turnout for second phase of LDC exam

For the second phase of the exam, 3,63,755 candidates were registered and 1,070 centres were set up in 20 districts of the state.

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board has conducted the second phase LDC recruitment examination-2018 on Sunday. The examination was conducted in 20 districts including Jaipur and 51.53 per cent candidates appeared for it. For the second phase of the exam, 3,63,755 candidates were registered and 1,070 centres were set up in 20 districts of the state.

The district administration had made adequate arrangements to prevent copying in the LDC examination. The first shift of the exam was from 8 to 11 in the morning and the second shift took place from 2 to 5 in the evening.

Rajasthan Staff Selection Board and the local district administration made special security arrangements for the examination. The candidates were allowed to enter the centres only after strict checking according to the board guidelines. More than 13,85,000 candidates applied for 11,225 LDC posts of various departments. As a result, the examination is being organised in four phases. The first and second phase of the exam have already been conducted. 

The exam of candidates having names from N to R will be organised on September 9 and candidates having names from S to Z will be organised on September 16.

TWO SHIFTS

The first shift of the exam was from 8 to 11AM and the second shift took place from 2 to 5PM. The candidates were allowed to enter the centres after strict checking according to the board guidelines.
