Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee chief, Sachin Pilot took a jibe at Home minister Gulab Chand Kataria’s statement in which he termed ‘mistake’ of Rajasthan police’s attempt to arrest Pravin Togadia, acting international president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. He also raised question on poor law and order situation in Rajasthan with growing incidents of organised crimes.

Pilot was addressing a rally in support of party candidate, Karan Singh Yadav in Alwar on Thursday. Criticising Raje government on various issues, he trained his guns on deteriorating law and order situation.

“The law and order situation is out of order. In the custody of the police, an accused was killed in Churu district and other two were seriously injured on Wednesday.

Before this, similar incident happened in Bundidistrict which reflects that  the criminals have no fear of police,” said Pilot, adding credibility of the police is depleting in BJP’s rule and it has no control on organised crimes. He further took on Kataria for making ‘irresponsible’ comment over Rajasthan police’s attempt to arrest Togadia. “The minister always shows helplessness. The manner in which he (Kataria) called Togadia arrest a mistake by police despite the case against him was withdrawn by the state government, raises serious question over his seriousness in handling law and order and image of Rajasthan police,” Pilot said, firing fresh salvo against Kataria. Notably, Gangapur police went to arrest Togadia recently in a decade-old case, which was withdrawn by the government in 2015.

Besides, Pilot also pulled up  Raje government on agenda of development.  “While interacting with the public during the election campaigning, I have realised that  people want change and are determined to support the Congress which will register victory in Ajmer, Alwar and Mandalgarh seats, Pilot claimed.
