Praises galore: People thank CM Vasundhara Raje for ‘good’ budget

Ever since Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has come up with the populist budget, she has been swarmed by various organisations offering their gratitude. 

On Monday, leaders of BJP SC-ST cell thanked Raje for sops and schemes which she had announced in recent state budget 2018-19. At the same time, she cut a cake weighing 65 Kg. 

Raje, accepting their wishes, claimed that her budget was made practical for the welfare of state. “Apart from that, announcements made on other occasions will be implemented soon so that common man could be benefited,” says Raje in a statement released by her office. 

Ramkishore Meena, state president of the cell, called Raje’s budget historical in context of welfare schemes for ST and SC communities.  

“BJP is the only party which has launched schemes at mass level for the welfare of ST, SC communities. People belonging to scheduled castes are happy with the budget announcements which mandate Rs 50,000 loan at 4 per cent interest rate for 50,000 families under Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Antodaya Scheme. Also, in the budget the due interest and penalties on Rs2 lakh loan given earlier has been waived off,” said Meena. 

The cell also thanked Raje for cabinet’s latest decision in which 5 per cent relaxation was given to SC/ST candidates appearing in clerk grade exam and developing a Paranoma in Mangarh Dham (Banswara).

Post budget, several MLAs, employee unions and organisations, women wings and cells within the party have been calling on Raje for the balanced budget announcements.
