The ruling BJP, it seems does not want to leave any opportunity to woo the voters in the election year! Already in poll mode, the party is busy promoting itself even in service (seva) works by giving it saffron and green colour.
Sample this. The water coolers, which provide cool and clean drinking water to the passersby and even the parindas which are used to provide feed and water to birds in the summer season are being painted in the colour of party’s flag. The BJP workers can be seen working full steam colouring parindas at state headquarters.
The BJP is adopting new ways to gain popularity among the voters. With this aim in mind, the party’s city unit has set a target of putting 3,100 parindas across the city under the Kamal Parinda Campaign which will be launched by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje at Jawahar Circle on Friday. At BJP headquarters, the workers are engaged full time painting parindas in green and saffron colour and then putting lotus flower in the bottom. On May 11 and 12, the workers will place 3,100 parindas at various places.
Similarly, for the comman man Kamal Pyaus will be set up in all 91 wards of the city. This apart, water coolers have been installed at 15 locations across the city and they too will be painted saffron and green.
“Kamal Parinda and Kamal Pyau are the campaigns of BJP. There is great enthusiasm about it among the workers so they are helping to paint parindas in saffron and green colour. All the water coolers are also being given the same colour.

BJP’s flag and banner will be installed on Kamal Pyau. Also the information of the respective assembly constituencies, Mandal and ward will be written on them. The name of the legislator, councillor and the head of the Mandal unit will be written,” said Sanjay Jain, BJP city president.
